Job Overview:

We are seeking an initiative-taking and meticulous Candidate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise, compliance verification, and assisting in the preparation of quotations and offers for a variety of service contracts. These services include Warranty, Warranty Extension, Availability Guarantee, Performance Warranty, and Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSA) for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Photovoltaic (PV) projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support:
  • Provide technical expertise to the sales team, ensuring all service offerings meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of technical proposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and customer specifications.
  • Compliance Verification:
  • Ensure all service proposals and quotations comply with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Work closely with sales, service, and project management teams to incorporate necessary terms and conditions into service offers.
  • Quotation and Offer Preparation:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop accurate and competitive quotations for various service contracts, including Warranty, Warranty Extension, Availability Guarantee, Performance Warranty, and LTSA.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed technical and commercial offers tailored to customer needs and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary data, pricing, and other inputs for offer preparation.
  • Customer Interaction:
  • Support the sales team in customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations, providing technical insights and addressing customer queries.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to clarify requirements, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Market and Product Knowledge:
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, modern technologies, and competitor offerings related to BESS and PV projects.
  • Provide feedback to product development and sales teams on market needs and potential service improvements.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of all quotations, offers, and communications with customers.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales support activities, including win/loss analysis, customer feedback, and market trends.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • MBA / PGDM

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in sales, technical sales support role, preferably in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on BESS and PV projects.
  • Proven experience in preparing technical quotations and service offers.

Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Photovoltaic (PV) systems.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Meticulous with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in compliance verification and regulatory requirements for energy storage and PV projects.
  • Familiarity with long-term service agreements (LTSA).
  • Prior experience in customer-facing roles, with a record of successful negotiations and customer satisfaction.
