Job summary

Stafmed is seeking a highly experienced Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon for a full-time role with a leading hospital in the UAE. You will diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, delivering advanced orthopedic care through surgical and non-surgical options.

Qualifications

Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
Recognised Tier 1 qualification (ABMS, Canadian RC, UK CCT/CCST or equivalent).
Minimum 3–5 years post-specialisation experience in Orthopedic Surgery.
Eligibility for Consultant licensing with DHA, DOH or MOHAP.
Experience in general orthopedics or a subspecialty.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage a wide range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
Perform orthopedic surgical procedures based on clinical expertise.
Evaluate and treat fractures, joint disorders, sports injuries, and degenerative conditions.
Develop personalised treatment plans for individual patients.
Conduct preoperative assessments and provide postoperative care and follow-up.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
Participate in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Support clinical education, training, and departmental development.
