Responsibilities
Examine patients to assess dental irregularities and plan appropriate treatment.
Develop orthodontic treatment plans based on patient's age, facial structure, and desired outcome.
Install and adjust braces, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances.
Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices during orthodontic treatment.
Collaborate with other dental specialists as needed for complex cases.
Provide post-treatment follow-up care and guidance.
Stay updated with advancements in orthodontic techniques and technologies.
Minimum Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
Successful completion of orthodontic residency program.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and orthodontic principles.
Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
