Job Summary

OAI Technical Support Engineer for the UAE Patriot Technical Assistance program. Provides technical field operational services, training, and system support to Patriot Battalion and Fire Unit personnel in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist with training of Patriot Battalion and Fire Unit personnel in required operational skills.
• Assist with BN/FU operation software initialization, including system databases and communication plans.
• Provide expertise on system software application, initialization, operation, and training.
• Support ensuring the integrated Phased Array Tracking Radar to Intercept of Target PATRIOT System is fully operational at BN and FU levels.
• Assist with new equipment training and sustainment training (classroom and practical exercises).
• Support UAE military personnel in system refresher operator training for battery and battalion personnel.
• Provide technical advice and assist Battery Personnel with operational and tactical procedures associated with the Patriot Missile System during modernization.
• Conduct operation and management of exercises utilizing practice scenarios with the Patriot ECS and ICC.
• Participate in On‑the‑Job Training (OJT) programs.
• Provide technical instruction and training at the training center using conference and practical exercise teaching methods.
• Perform other related duties as required or directed by the section officer.

Qualifications

• Active and existing security clearance required on day 1.
• Minimum four years of experience with the Patriot Air Defense System.
• Directly related experience in the Patriot Evaluation Section and Patriot Tactical Operations at the Battalion or higher level.
• Experience with integrated Battalion and Fire Unit‑to‑Fire Unit operations.
• Experience instructing Patriot organizational classes in classroom and tactical equipment, including RSOP/Survey, March Order, Emplacement, System Initialization and Mapping, Air Defense Mission against Air‑Breathing Threats (ABT) and Tactical Ballistic Missiles (TBM), Guided Missile Reload, and ARTEP Battle Drills/Gunnery Tables.
• Knowledge of Brigade/AADCOM level TACSOPs and capability to assist in training for organizational level system upgrades.
• Completion of Patriot Operator and System Mechanic MOS 24T/14E/140E under U.S. Army TRADOC or equivalent course from Patriot Missile System Contractor.
• Current Secret Security Clearance.
• Working knowledge of Patriot integrated battalion and Fire Platoon‑to‑Fire Platoon operations, including communication links.
• One year of Collective Training experience or deployment assignment to a Patriot Battalion in CONUS or OCONUS.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s with 5 years of related experience, or Associate’s Degree with 8 years of experience, or HS Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience.
