Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks an Air and Missile Defense Analyst / EADSIM Specialist to support UAE AWC IAMDC by delivering advanced simulation-based training. You will develop digital scenarios from OPORDs/CONOPs, operate simulation systems, and manage networks for testing and exercises.

The role requires formal EADSIM training certificates, experience with MESL/MEL translation, and ability to deliver accurate IAMD simulations for operational units in Abu Dhabi on-site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Translate MESL and MEL into digital scenarios using EADSIM and other simulation platforms as needed.
• Tailor simulation scenarios to match locations, times and training objectives with realistic weapon system representations.
• Develop frameworks for Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) scenarios for IAMDC and AWC training events.
• Implement and manage scripted and dynamic simulation environments including blue, red and neutral forces for LVC exercises.
• Ensure accurate kinematic trajectories, radar cross-section (RCS) and infrared (IR) signatures for simulations and live-fire events.
• Integrate and manage federations of LVC simulators for seamless cross-system operation.
• Load threat data, validate databases, and prepare briefing materials for group sessions.

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Air and Missile Defense Analyst / Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM) Specialist will support theUnited Arab Emirates Air Warfare Center (AWC)at the Integrated Air & Missile Defense Center (IAMDC) delivering advanced simulation-based training for operational units. The role includes scenario development system maintenance operation instruction and network management for simulation systems.

The candidate will assist in the development of realistic digital training scenarios by transposing written exercise Operation Orders (OPORDs) Concept of Operations (CONOPs) and training vignettes into air and ballistic missile defense simulations using EADSIM and other simulation platforms to provide combat training support for operational units through the delivery of accurate air and missile defense simulation scenarios. The primary system to be utilized is EADSIM. The candidate must have attended formal EADSIM Fundamentals training at the Teledyne Brown Engineering (TBE) schoolhouse and at least one EADSIM Advanced Training class (Sensors Flex SAM User Rules and/or Sensors). The candidate should be prepared to provide copies of class certificates as proof of training attendance.

Scenario Development and Simulations Integration Support

• Translate Master Event Scenario List (MESL) and Master Event List (MEL) into digital scenarios using EADSIM and other simulation platforms as needed.
• Tailor simulation scenarios to match specific locations times and training objectives accurately representing real-world weapon system capabilities and limitations.
• Develop frameworks for Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) scenarios to support training events for the IAMDC and AWC.
• Implement and manage both scripted and dynamic simulation environments including blue red and neutral forces for Live Virtual and Constructive (LVC) exercise events.
• Ensure accurate representation of kinematic trajectories radar cross-section (RCS) and infrared (IR) signature data for simulation exercises and live-fire events.
• Integrate and manage a federation of LVC simulations/simulators to ensure seamless integration with other systems as required.
• Load user-provided threat data validate databases and produce presentation materials for group briefings.

System Operation & Support

• Install and update operating systems and simulations software for Windows network devices ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.
• Input sensor and weapon system parameters validate system integrity and provide technical support during exercises.
• Archive system data and prepare systems for subsequent use.

Training & Coordination

• Provide system overview briefings and compile modeling data for training participants and integrated teams.
• Collaborate with other vendor teams to integrate multiple simulation tools for exercises.
• Create and manage documents such as Exercise Control Plans Deliverable Reports
• After-Action Review (AAR) documents Planning Conference notes and Meeting Minutes.

The candidate may also be asked to

• Submit the Monthly Activity Report the primary contract is deliverable at the company level.

This position will be on site with the UAE AWC customer in Abu Dhabi UAE.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. Degree in the technical field such as Engineering Computer Science Mathematics or Physics.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in a related field.
• Critical thinking skills strong problem-solving skills are required.
• Must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must have an active secret clearance and ability to retain the clearance

Preferred Requirements:

• 15 years of experience in Air Defense Command and Control Systems.
• 10 years of experience in Air Defense systems integration.
• 2 years of experience in the use of EADSIM and experience using EADSIM to model air and missile defense systems.
• Masters degree in systems engineering
• EADSIM Training Course Completion
