Work Locations

An Order-Taker is responsible for servicing room service operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience while optimising sales and controlling costs.

What will I be doing?

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

1. Ensure compliance with brand standards
2. Answer all telephone calls and prioritize them accordingly
3. Maintain excellent telephone etiquette
4. Handle order taking and placement efficiently, courteously, and promptly, while dealing with guest requests
5. Have good knowledge of room service menus and ongoing promotions in other F&B outlets
6. Be knowledgeable of all hotel services, facilities, and products
7. Communicate effectively with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, recook orders, and product availability
8. Maintain proper appearance and grooming while on duty
