Job description

Are you a skilled and passionate Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon looking for a challenging yet rewarding career opportunity? We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon.

As an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing surgical procedures and treatments on patients with diseases, injuries, or defects of the head, neck, face, mouth, and jaws. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and specialized care to patients.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Perform oral and maxillofacial surgeries including tooth extraction, corrective jaw surgery, dental implant placement, bone grafting, and facial trauma surgery
  • Diagnose and treat oral diseases and abnormalities
  • Evaluate patient's medical history, x-rays, and diagnostic tests to determine the best course of treatment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Advise and educate patients on post-operative care and recovery
  • Monitor and manage patient's progress and provide necessary follow-up treatments
  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records
  • Stay updated with advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery techniques, technologies, and practices
  • Adhere to all medical and ethical standards set by regulatory bodies

Requirements :

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree
  • Completed a residency program in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery
  • Board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
  • A valid state license to practice as an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon
  • Proficient in the use of surgical tools and equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
