Job summary

Nexttec Technology Outsourcing is seeking an Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant to guide implementations, customizations, and maintenance of Oracle EBS Finance modules for clients in the Middle East. You will translate business requirements into effective financial solutions with strong collaboration across finance and IT teams.

The role emphasizes end-to-end lifecycle support, including month-/year-end activities, process improvements, and user training, with a focus on compliant finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field.
• Oracle EBS Finance functional experience (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, iExpense, SLA).
• Experience with public sector, banking, or regulated finance environments.
• Oracle EBS R12.2.x, SLA rules, AME/workflows, integrations, and tax setups.
• Oracle EBS certification is a plus; strong English/Arabic business communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Oracle EBS Finance modules per client requirements.
• Support day-to-day finance operations, issue resolution, and controls compliance.
• Assist enhancements, month-/year-end closings, data corrections, testing, and docs.
• Configure and customize EBS Finance modules for specific needs.
• Coordinate integrations with other systems and provide end-user training.
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with technical teams on reports/workflows.

Education

About The Job

As an Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the implementation, customization, and maintenance of Oracle EBS Finance modules. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Oracle EBS Finance modules according to client requirements
• Responsible for supporting day-to-day finance operations, resolving business and IT-reported issues, analyzing root causes, validating accounting setups, and ensuring compliance with finance processes and controls.
• Should be able to support enhancements, customizations, month-end/year-end closing activities, reconciliation issues, data correction analysis, user support, testing, documentation, and coordination with technical teams for integrations, reports, workflows, and custom developments.
• Configure and customize Oracle EBS Finance modules to meet specific business needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration with other systems
• Provide end-user training and support during implementation and post-implementation phases
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Oracle EBS Finance modules

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong functional experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Finance modules, including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, iExpense, SLA, AGIS, and financial reporting.
• Experience in public sector, banking, or regulated financial institutions.
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS R12.2.x, SLA accounting rules, AME/workflows, Oracle Forms/OAF, BI/XML Publisher reports, integrations with procurement/payroll/banking systems, tax/VAT setups, audit support, and Arabic/English business user communication.
• Experience with Jira/ManageEngine and ITIL-based support processes is preferred.
• Experience with full lifecycle implementation of Oracle EBS Finance modules
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Oracle EBS Finance certification is a plus.
