Job Description

You will analyze business needs and provide recommendations on how to program the product hierarchy to address the customer's specifications. You will write custom reports, exports, and make modifications to the solution to meet the customer's needs.

The Functional Consultant must be able to perform the following tasks:

1. Identify the appropriate software architecture based on requirements and design elements contained in a system specification.
2. Analyze software requirements, define solution parameters, and specifications.
3. Conduct formal workshops with clients to gather requirements, demonstrating knowledge of the business environment to define customer needs.
4. Produce estimations of the solution and participate in high-level planning and implementation methodology of the project.
5. Engage in Pre-Sales activities and write technical proposals.
6. Lead the function design process and facilitate design workshops.
7. Negotiate and manage the functional scope to reduce business and technical risks for both the client and Oracle Consulting.
8. Apply professional mastery and industry-wide understanding of technology, tools, and methodologies to develop solutions in leading-edge or critical situations.
9. Be viewed by customers as a trusted adviser.
10. Manage customer relationships and handle situations during the implementation process.
11. Assist software developers with creating detailed software design specifications.
12. Perform software version control and maintain periodic compilation schedules.
13. Review technical solution designs and configurations aligned with functional solutions.
14. Conduct training for clients and within Oracle.
15. Coordinate with the product team to provide inputs for future product enhancements.
16. Be a good team player with strong analytical skills.
