Job summary

TradesApp in Dubai is looking for an Optometrist to perform eye examinations, propose vision corrections, and ensure high standards of patient care in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will support optical sales, help with customer retention, and manage day-to-day store operations, including stock and equipment maintenance. UAE experience is preferred, and bilingual English skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Optometry or recognized qualification.
• Valid Optometry license or eligibility letter from MOH, DHA, or DOH.
• Minimum 2 years of optometry experience; UAE experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent knowledge of optical lenses and contact lens fitting.
• Customer-focused with sales and relationship-building mindset.
• Flexibility to work weekends and varied shifts.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or Russian is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye examinations and vision assessments.
• Diagnose vision problems; prescribe glasses or contacts.
• Fit contact lenses and provide eye-care guidance.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and support optical sales.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Monitor contact lens stock and manage orders.
• Oversee maintenance of optometry equipment.
