Job summary

Want More is seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our Dubai team. The ideal candidate will perform eye exams, prescribe corrective lenses, fit contact lenses, and advise patients on eyewear choices to meet individual needs.

The role requires UAE licensure, a Bachelor’s degree in Optometry, and a minimum of two years’ experience, with a focus on customer service and strong communication skills to deliver excellent vision care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Optometry.
• Licensed Optometrist in the UAE.
• Minimum two years of experience as an Optometrist.
• Knowledge of current optometric technology.
• Knowledge of contact lens fitting techniques.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye examinations using manual or automated methods to diagnose sight defects, visual acuity and eye diseases.
• Analyze test results to diagnose vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, presbyopia and other vision impairments.
• Prescribe corrective lenses or recommend lifestyle changes based on individual needs.
• Educate patients on contact lens use or eyeglasses care.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient satisfaction with their vision.
