Overview

We are looking for a qualified Optometrist to join our team in Musaffah. The ideal candidate should have a passion for vision care and helping others. They will be responsible for providing comprehensive vision care services, conducting eye exams, detecting and diagnosing vision problems and diseases, prescribing corrective lenses, and educating patients on their current vision status.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams using diagnostic tests and specialized equipment
  • Diagnose vision issues such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, presbyopia, glaucoma, amblyopia, strabismus, cataracts, etc.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses or other therapies as necessary
  • Educate patients about their current vision status and provide advice on how to improve or maintain it
  • Monitor patients’ progress over time through follow-up appointments or tests
  • Create personalized treatment plans based on patient needs
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Optometry from an accredited program
  • Current license to practice Optometry in the UAE
  • Knowledge of current best practices and trends in optometry
  • Ability to effectively explain conditions and treatments to patients
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
