Optometrist vacancy in El-Ain UAE

Optometrist Position in El-Ain. We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in El-Ain. The role requires a professional with excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients, including routine eye examinations and the provision of corrective eyewear.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams including refraction, ocular health assessment, visual field analysis, tonometry, and contact lens fitting
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, retinal diseases, etc.
• Educate patients on proper eyecare
• Make recommendations for glasses or contact lenses based on patient needs
• Prescribe medications when necessary
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or equivalent qualification is required
• Must be able to obtain a valid license from the UAE Ministry of Health or equivalent governing body to practice optometry in El-Ain
• At least 3 years of experience working as an Optometrist is preferred
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential
