Job summary

Himalaya Wellness Europe in Dubai seeks an Operator - Bottle Filling (Tablet/ Capsule) to manage filling lines and ensure GMP compliance. The role requires monitoring production parameters, maintaining quality, and coordinating with QA/QC teams.

You're responsible for batch records, in-process checks, and clean/sterile packing practices while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines. This is a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing position in a greenfield setup.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, ITI or diploma in pharma/chemical or related field.
• Experience: minimum 5 years in packing operations in a pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.
• Hands-on experience with filling line, checkweigher, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor tablet/capsule filling line as per SOPs.
• Perform batch filling and labelling as per batch manufacturing records (BMR).
• Monitor temperature, RH and pressure to ensure compliance with formulation standards.
• Maintain batch records, logbooks, and process documentation as per regulatory requirements.
• Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure product consistency and uniformity.
• Work closely with QA, QC, and engineering teams to resolve production issues and deviations.
• Ensure proper cleaning, sanitization, and sterilization of Filling line and equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols, PPE requirements, and environmental health & safety (EHS) regulations.
• Identify and report any deviations, defects, or equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team.
• Participate in regulatory audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Optimize the packing process to enhance efficiency and reduce wastage.

ROLE CONTEXT & PURPOSE

As part of a greenfield pharmaceutical manufacturing setup, the Operator - Bottle Filling (Tablet/ Capsule) plays a crucial role in handling the Filling of Tablet/Capsules while ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory guidelines. The incumbent is responsible for operating and maintaining Filling line, monitoring production parameters, and ensuring product quality during the packing process.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

EXPERIENCE + EXPOSURE + EDUCATION

• Education: High school diploma / ITI / Diploma in Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in packing operations in a pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.

Key Skills

• Hands-on experience with filling line (Filling machine & Checkweigher).
