Job summary

Julphar is seeking a Machine Operator in Ras Al Khaimah to operate, monitor and maintain pharmaceutical packaging machinery in compliance with cGMP, SOPs and EHS standards.

The role focuses on efficient production, quality compliance and safe operations while maintaining line cleanliness and maximizing throughput. Prior pharma packaging experience is required, with a Diploma in mechanical and basic English skills.

Qualifications

Diploma in mechanical required.
4 years of experience in pharmaceutical industries.
Basic Computer Knowledge.
Basic skills for reading and writing of English language.

Responsibilities

Adhere to cGMP principles and maintain them effectively.
Organize machine and line for packaging.
Follow gowning procedures per SOP.
Prepare, check, and complete assigned work per SOPs.
Check bulk and packaging material before use per dispensing sheet.
Maintain line clearance.
Operate and clean machines per SOP.
Verify product weight and use calibrated scales.
Complete batch packaging documents per SOP.
Report faults to line supervisor promptly.
Monitor line capacity hourly and support maximum efficiency.
Keep the line clean between batches and at end of shift.
Follow EMS and HSE standards with PPE and safe practices.
Contribute to environmental risk reduction and continual improvement.

Job Title - Machine Operator

Job Summary

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining packaging machinery in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and EHS standards. The role ensures efficient production, quality compliance, and safe operations while maintaining line cleanliness and maximizing productivity in pharmaceutical packaging operations.

Key Responsibilities

To adhere with the cGMP principles and to maintain them in an effective manner.
Organizing the machine and line for packaging.
To follow gowning procedure as per the SOP.
To prepare, check, and finish the assigned work in accordance with SOPs.
Check the bulk and packaging material before use as per dispensing sheet.
Responsible for the line clearance.
To perform the machine operation and cleaning as per SOP.
To check the product weight as per the limit & weighing operation for packaging process using calibrated scale.
Perform the batch packaging documents as per SOP.
Report any mistake or technical fault to the line Boss/designee immediately.
To get the line capacity every hour and help maximum line efficiency.
Responsible to keep the line clean between batches and at the end of the shift.
Execute daily operations in compliance with EMS and HSE standards, using appropriate PPE and safe practices.
Identify, reduce, and prevent environmental impacts and operational risks.
Contribute to EHS activities, audits, and continual improvement initiatives.
Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the superiors.
