Job Purpose

Operate and monitor process plant and facilities in the assigned area as per operating procedures and Company's HSE standards.

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)

Plant Operations

• Carry out assigned operational work safely according to standards and in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform routine checks on equipment for abnormalities, report defects, and coordinate with supervisors for servicing.
• Adjust and monitor speeds, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates to ensure effective start-up and shutdown operations.
• Prepare plant/equipment for maintenance to ensure proper functioning and synchronization with other equipment.
• Receive chemicals, maintain stock/consumption registers, and prepare chemical batches, adhering to procedures and HSE rules.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently as per standards and instructions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies, procedures, and controls.
• Obtain work permits, monitor ongoing jobs, and oversee contractor activities to ensure safety compliance.
• Perform duties as Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer during emergencies as per the Facility Response Plan.
• Follow supervisor instructions to carry out duties efficiently and safely.
• Prepare KPI checklists for management review.
