Role Overview :
The Operations Support Specialist will be the primary liaison between our field team and the office, manage supplier quotes, coordinate material requests, oversee logistics for personnel and materials, support deliveries to customer sites, and provide overall technical and operational support to the office team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the main point of contact between field technicians and the office operations team.
- Request, evaluate, and manage quotes from suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Process and prioritize material requests from field teams, tracking status and delivery.
- Coordinate personnel logistics, including travel arrangements and on-site support schedules.
- Oversee dispatch and receipt of materials at the yard.
- Facilitate delivery of material to customer warehouses and facilities.
- Provide technical and operational support as needed to resolve field issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all transactions, requests, and communications.
- Communicate updates and potential delays proactively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, warehouse, project management) to streamline processes.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.2+ years of experience in operations, logistics coordination, or procurement in Oil and Gas.Working knowledge of Solids Control.Willing to travel and work offshore.Willing to visit and work in yard / warehouse / field.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Detail-oriented mindset and problem-solving aptitude.Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.Flexibility to respond to urgent field needs and occasional travel to project sites.
