Job description

Fluent Arabic speaking and writing is required.

Provide support to MERN Network by effectively handling the relationship with government officials involved in trucking movements, performing daily tasks, dealing with exceptions, on-road trucking issues, and compliance reporting.

Provide technical advice and practical support to internal and external customers on service and related systems issues.

Job Function

  • Build relationships with government officials to address MERN Network requirements.
  • Closely monitor trucks at borders.
  • Manage clearance paperwork and requirements from customers.
  • Coordinate with clearance brokers at borders to expedite truck movements.
  • Communicate with truck drivers and log updates.
  • Report and analyze transit times.
  • Optimize clearance transit times at borders through analysis.
  • Produce reports for management and senior management.

Perform general administrative and support duties as required.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Excellent Arabic speaking and writing skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in developing and implementing operational solutions.

Responsible for completing defined processes and procedures accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Identify anomalies and use judgment to resolve them; escalate complex issues to senior team members when necessary.

Skills required include accuracy and attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC skills, planning and organizing skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills.
