Job Description

Role: Operations Supervisor

Location: Dubai

Role Purpose:

Assist the unit manager to ensure the smooth operation of all activities related to VISA Direct product (Cards, Wallets & Accounts).

• Ensure operational processes follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Assist with reports and other unit requirements.
• Perform duties as Team Lead/Checker for VISA Direct transactions and related activities.

Key Accountabilities:

• Review and approve transactions related to Centralized Operations, including VISA Direct, salary, pension payments, and bulk transfers.
• Monitor VISA Direct queue and ensure timely actions.
• Perform daily reconciliation of VISA Direct transactions and resolve anomalies.
• Address VISA Direct queries promptly.
• Handle RPA BOT activities for bulk payments and monitor reports.
• Manage offshore payment activities.
• Review day-end reports for accuracy.
• Report significant deviations to management.
• Maintain organized records and perform timely archiving.
• Verify and approve transaction reconciliations.
• Participate in training to improve skills and train junior staff.
• Assist in maintaining team standards and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with policies and operational controls.
• Collaborate on automation projects involving other departments.
• Participate in risk and control exercises like RCSA and BCM.
• Undertake additional projects as assigned.
• Handle customer disputes and inquiries.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Understanding of bank policies and products.
• Technological proficiency and analytical skills.
• Effective communication in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work independently.
