Job description

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations across multiple departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. This role involves leading and developing teams, implementing policies, monitoring performance, and collaborating with other departments to achieve organizational goals.

What you will do:

  1. Supervise daily site operations to ensure productivity and safety.
  2. Ensure equipment maintenance, timely repairs, and adherence to production schedules.
  3. Prioritize safety and compliance with company policies, standards, processes, and procedures.
  4. Identify production bottlenecks or operational issues and implement effective solutions.
  5. Review and develop operations documentation to support continuous improvement.
  6. Develop the skills and capabilities of technicians through coaching and training.
  7. Ensure strict adherence to safety practices and quality standards.
  8. Drive operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience:

  1. Experience in leading a team in a workshop or factory-based environment.
  2. Technically competent, preferably within a Power Generation environment.
  3. Ability to hold oneself and others accountable.
  4. Capable of defining, setting, and improving standards.
  5. Well organized, able to handle multiple tasks in a controlled manner.
