Job description

We’re looking for high-performing and experienced Payments Specialists who have demonstrated the skills needed to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We need individuals who learn quickly, communicate effectively, and support team members.

Some of the Job Responsibilities You’ll Have Are
  1. Processing local and foreign currency transactions and investigating related payment issues.
  2. Responding to queries from other banks.
  3. Raising RFIs with clients.
  4. Resolving transaction screening and monitoring alerts for payment transactions.
  5. Ensuring excellent customer service by interacting with customers and resolving their issues.
  6. Collaborating with product and technology teams to suggest improvements to processes for better customer service.
  7. Working with internal teams to resolve customer issues.
The Key Competencies We’re Looking For Are
  1. Experience in local and international payments, including processes, investigation, and dispute management.
  2. Knowledge of Central Bank UAE regulations for payments.
  3. Knowledge of SWIFT and related processes.
  4. Cheque processing experience is a plus.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills, especially in situations lacking clear processes or guidance.
  6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex processes for customers.
  7. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to support others in a busy environment.
  8. Flexibility and adaptability to an ever-changing environment, with a passion for working in a startup.
  9. Fluent spoken and written English.
  10. Arabic language skills are a plus.
