Operations & Purchase Coordinator

This role blends basic operations, purchasing, and admin work. You will work closely with one of the business owners to help manage supplier coordination, purchase follow-ups, inventory, basic accounts, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the right-hand to the business owner for daily operations.
• Manage vendor and supplier communications post-deal closure.
• Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and shipment timelines.
• Maintain and update inventory records.
• Prepare and manage reports using Microsoft Excel (purchase tracking, inventory, cost analysis, etc.).
• Handle basic accounting tasks related to purchases and expenses.
• Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars.
• Organize documents and maintain internal filing systems.
• Coordinate with the production team for stock requirements and reorder planning.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Procurement Assistant, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, tables, pivot, basic reporting).
• Basic accounting principles (purchase invoices, petty cash, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• High attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
• Knowledge of supply chain or inventory software is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or trading industries.
• Fluent in English and Hindi.
