Job Description

Our client is seeking a dynamic Logistics and Distribution Specialist to oversee their tobacco product distribution network. This role requires expertise in managing international logistics, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving cost-effective supply chain operations in the fast-paced FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including international shipping, customs clearance, and warehousing for tobacco products.
• Optimize distribution routes and transportation strategiesto reduce costs and improve delivery efficiency using WMS/TMS tools.
• Ensure compliancewith international trade regulations, customs procedures, and industry-specific laws for tobacco distribution.
• Lead inventory control initiativesto maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste across warehouses.
• Negotiate contractswith carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to secure favorable terms.
• Analyze logistics performance metrics(e.g., delivery times, freight costs) and implement data-driven improvements.
• Resolve operational challengespromptly, such as delays or customs issues, to maintain seamless distribution.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience Required:

• 3–5 years in logistics/supply chain management, preferably in FMCG/tobacco or related industries.
• Proven experience managing large-scale distribution networks, including international shipping and customs procedures.
• Hands-on expertise with WMS and TMSsystems.
