Job description

Black & Grey HR is hiring exclusively for an
Operations Manager - Wood Shredding for a well-established and diversified group of companies in
Dubai, UAE. This role is critical to the success of a high-capacity
recycled wood
processing facility, where wood shredding is the core function. We're looking for an expert in wood shredding operations who understands the technical, mechanical, and operational aspects of running industrial shredders at scale.


Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the
wood shredding unit with a production capacity of
300 tons/day.
- Oversee and manage a team of
Shredding Machine Operators, Supervisors, Safety Officers, and
Shovel Operators.
- Ensure peak performance and minimal downtime of
industrial shredding equipment such as
MOBARK, HUSS, and Hammel.
- Monitor the intake and classification of waste, used, and fresh wood to maintain a stable input pipeline.
- Ensure consistent output of
shredded wood fuel for industrial use, particularly in
wood-fired boilers in the paper industry.
- Optimize machine efficiency, operational flow, and output quality.
- Track and report on operational metrics, costs, and productivity KPIs.
- Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure preventive and corrective servicing of all shredding equipment.
- Enforce
strict safety and environmental compliance across the plant.
