An Operations Manager is responsible for the effective operational management of the hotel to ensure that Heads of Department achieve and exceed their revenue and Guest satisfaction targets.

What will I be doing?

As Operations Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to and collaborating with the Cluster Hotel Manager to manage key property issues (including capital projects, guest service, refurbishment)
  • Developing meaningful, achievable hotel budgets and strategic goals
  • Providing effective leadership to the hotel management team and staff to meet and exceed targets
  • Responding to audits to ensure continual improvement
  • Planning and coordinating service delivery across departments to exceed guest expectations
  • Ensuring compliance with hotel and company Service Standards
  • Controlling costs and analyzing results to address issues
  • Managing and developing Heads of Department for career progression and succession planning
  • Responding to guest feedback to ensure positive outcomes and high satisfaction levels
  • Holding regular team meetings and briefings

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
  • Experience in Rooms Management and either a commercial function or completion of the Shine 1 program
  • Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting
  • In-depth knowledge of the UAE hotel and leisure markets
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate teams and achieve targets
  • Accountability and resilience
  • Ability to work under pressure

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience in both Rooms Management and F&B Operations
  • At least 5 years as a department head in hospitality
  • Previous experience in a similar role
