Our client, a leading international marine engineering industry specializing in marine repair, maintenance, and engineering support, is looking for an Operations Leader.

As a Marine Operations Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our activities. You will be responsible for ensuring safety rules, efficiency, and cost-effective execution of company projects, while adhering to industry regulations and company policies.

Principal Accountabilities

• Lead all aspects of operations
• Support the General Manager in maintaining high standards of marine services and ensure that the functions of the Authority are properly carried out
• Assist the General Manager on operational matters as required and participate fully as a member of the Management Team
• Regularly review operational demand to ensure sufficient staffing levels for safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between marine, logistics, and technical departments
• Stay informed of legal and technical developments affecting the Authority’s operations locally, nationally, and internationally
• Monitor performance management KPIs to evaluate operational success against objectives
• Ensure compliance with the Authority’s health and safety policies and other relevant procedures by all employees
• Maintain proper records of maintenance, operations, and other activities
• Provide proactive communication and management intervention, including directing and communicating with staff and monitoring operational procedures
• Manage operational budgets to meet financial targets
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard personnel during work on vessels
• Provide regular reports on operational performance to senior management
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for potential crises or unforeseen events

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of marine technology, navigation systems, and vessel operations
