Overview

The Operations Manager for Learning & Development at the Al-Futtaim Automotive Talent Centre is responsible for overseeing the training operations, managing budgets, and ensuring quality management for both domestic and international initiatives. This role involves continuous improvement for cost control, managing stakeholders, imbedding learning principles, and ensuring all training and development needs are effectively met. Additionally, the role focuses on effectively implementing and sustaining the Learning Management System, conducting key account management, and driving certification and compliance with world-class standards. This position plays a crucial role in aligning learning and development with business objectives to maximize investment returns.

What you will do
  • Manage the Talent Centre's training operations, budgets, and quality management both domestically and overseas.
  • Initiate and manage continuous improvement methods for effective cost control and accurate financial tracking.
  • Create business cases and ensure all projects are approved and within budget.
  • Liaise between L&D, finance, EIT, HR, and stakeholders to align the L&D function with business objectives.
  • Define measurement and metrics strategies to ensure individual and organizational performance goals are met.
  • Imbed the 70:20:10 learning principle within the Talent Centre and ensure effective learning transformation.
  • Manage the Learning Management System to ensure ROI and improve productivity through collaborative learning.
  • Conduct Key Account Management to ensure all learning and development requirements are met for automotive business partners.
  • Design, develop, and communicate L&D metrics and financial dashboards to stakeholders.
  • Ensure QHSE management systems are implemented and drive ISO and OHSAS certification processes.
  • Project manage instructional design and business IT systems upgrades or implementations.
  • Develop strategies for effective LMS management and sustain its post go-live utilization.
