Job Description

About the Role:
We are looking for a results-oriented Operations Manager to lead our end-to-end operational processes in a fast-paced FMCG and e-commerce environment. This is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for optimizing performance across our fulfillment network, improving customer experience, and driving scalable, tech-enabled solutions.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in FMCG operations and e-commerce logistics, with a data-driven and technology-first approach to managing people, processes, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:Fulfillment & Warehousing:

  • Oversee the daily operations of warehousing, inventory control, and fulfillment to ensure efficient order processing and dispatch
  • Optimize warehouse layout, picking strategies, and inventory flow for speed, accuracy, and space utilization
  • Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishments, and reduce shrinkage through effective controls

Logistics & Last-Mile Delivery:

  • Manage last-mile delivery operations ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers
  • Partner with internal fleet teams and third-party logistics providers to monitor SLA adherence and delivery KPIs
  • Implement routing optimization, tracking tools, and delivery performance dashboards

Process Improvement & Technology Integration:

  • Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks by introducing automation and data-driven workflows
  • Collaborate with tech teams to roll out and enhance ERP, WMS, and order management systems
  • Lead initiatives to digitize manual processes and enhance system efficiencies across the supply chain

Data Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze operational KPIs (e.g., order fulfillment rate, OTIF, inventory accuracy, delivery success rate)
  • Generate daily/weekly reports and dashboards to support decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Use data insights to identify trends, forecast demand, and plan capacity accordingly
  • Lead and mentor operations staff across warehouse, logistics, and customer operations
  • Drive a performance-oriented culture through clear goal setting, regular feedback, and structured development plans
  • Ensure proper training, safety standards, and compliance with company policies and labor laws

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with procurement, customer service, finance, and tech teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Align operational strategies with marketing and sales campaigns to manage seasonal spikes or promotional demand

Regulatory & Quality Compliance:

  • Ensure all processes comply with UAE regulatory standards for food safety, health, and transportation
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, quality control, and risk management within warehouse and delivery operations

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field; MBA is a plus
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in operations, preferably within FMCG and/or e-commerce sectors
  • Strong understanding of logistics, warehousing, and last-mile delivery in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in using operations technology, ERP systems, and data analytics tools
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in the UAE market is highly desirable
