Operations Manager - Facilities Management

About the Role:

My client are looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Operations Manager to join their growing maintenance company. You'll manage day-to-day customer queries, oversee job scheduling, and ensure the smooth processing of work orders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for client queries via phone and email
  • Liaise with internal teams (engineers, procurement, finance) to ensure timely job completion
  • Log, track, and process work orders and service requests
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance visits and contractor appointments
  • Maintain and update job tracking systems and client records
  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding job status and follow-ups
  • Ensure smooth office operations and provide admin support as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior experience in a customer service/ office management role, ideally within maintenance, property, or service-based industries
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and a proactive mindset
