XSquare is a Dubai based, fast-growing B2B platform revolutionizing how businesses manage their processes. Our all-in-one solution offers domestic & cross-border payments, invoicing & accounting tools, and end-to-end financial automation. We're on a mission to streamline financial operations for businesses across industries and geographies.

Role Overview:

As the Operations Manager, you will be the key driver behind activating customers on our platform. You will ensure a seamless, efficient, and compliant onboarding process that supports our expansion goals. This role blends operational leadership, process optimization, and hands-on execution across various verticals like compliance, payments, and SaaS integrations.

This is an in-office role based in our Dubai office. The candidate MUST have local UAE or GCC payments / Bank experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Onboarding Strategy: Design, implement, and optimize customer onboarding workflows tailored to different business segments and regions.
  2. Operational Execution: Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including document collection, KYC/AML verification, and platform setup.
  3. Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with Sales, Product, Compliance, and Engineering to ensure customer management aligns with internal systems and capabilities.
  4. Process Automation: Identify opportunities to introduce automation using internal tools or third-party platforms.
  5. Customer Success Enablement: Ensure that new customers understand how to use the platform, including features related to payments, accounting, and financial automation.
  6. Compliance & Risk Management: Work closely with legal and compliance teams to stay ahead of regulatory requirements, especially regarding cross-border and domestic transactions.
  7. Data & Reporting: Monitor onboarding KPIs and provide insights to leadership for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  1. MUST have GCC, ideally UAE, based banking / payments / FinTech Operations experience
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or related field (MBA is a plus)
  3. 5-8 years of experience in operations, customer onboarding, or fintech/SaaS environments
  4. Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, accounting platforms, and financial automation tools
  5. Experience with KYC/AML processes and compliance frameworks
  6. Proficiency in workflow tools (e.g., Bigin, HubSpot, Airtable, etc.)
  7. Excellent project management and cross-functional communication skills
  8. Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience with onboarding customers across multiple countries
  2. Familiarity with ERP or financial software integrations
  3. Previous work in fintech, banking-as-a-service, or accounting tech startups
