Job Summary:
Minerva is looking for a high-energy, hands-on Operations Manager to work closely with the CEO, overseeing both front-office (Sales & Marketing) and back-office (Logistics, Sales Support, Accounts, Technical, etc.). This role requires a strong leader who can drive operations, manage financial performance, and ensure business growth. You’ll also act as a brand ambassador for key partners, making strategic and tactical decisions that keep Minerva at the forefront of the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations
- Work hand-in-hand with the CEO to execute business strategies and optimize company performance.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth collaboration across all departments.
- Conduct morning meetings, set deliverables, and drive accountability across teams.
- Manage small and large projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Coach and mentor staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Financial & Performance Management
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial planning, ensuring sustainable growth.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize business efficiency.
- Ensure profitability through smart resource allocation and operational improvements.
- Work with the accounts team to maintain financial health, compliance, and strategic forecasting.
Brand & Business Development
- Represent Minerva and key brands like Motorola, ensuring a strong market presence.
- Build and strengthen relationships with suppliers, clients, and external partners.
- Balance strategic vision and tactical execution, making key business decisions that drive growth.
Project & Process Management
- Oversee logistics, sales support, and technical functions, ensuring smooth operations.
- Work with external agencies, including web development and marketing teams, to drive business initiatives.
- Identify efficiencies and process improvements to keep the company agile and competitive.
Performance & Growth
- Ensure timely execution of key initiatives while maintaining high productivity.
- Implement structure, accountability, and performance metrics to optimize team output.
- Lead change management, ensuring Minerva stays ahead in an evolving market.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8-10 years of leadership experience.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
- People management and coaching skills—you know how to motivate, challenge, and bring out the best in your team.
- Ability to make quick, strategic decisions while ensuring tactical execution.
- A hands-on leader who can step in, problem-solve, and get things done.
