As a member of Munich Re the MedNet Group is a leading Third-Party Administrator across the MEA region. We are currently seeking to hire an Operations Manager to support the General Manager and Group Head of Operations in driving Customer Centricity and overseeing core operational departments to achieve business goals. This position is responsible for delivering standardized, high-quality, and customer-centric services, leveraging automation, digital solutions, and AI to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
Your role:
- Lead the performance and day-to-day management of the Production, Medical/Pre-Authorization, Claims Processing, Customer Service, Analytics, Audit/FWA, and Provider Network departments in the UAE market.
- Provide strong leadership and direction to departmental heads, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance across all teams.
- Instill a customer-first mindset across client-facing and back-office departments, ensuring a smooth, consistent, and high-quality customer journey
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure departments align with MedNet’s operational and strategic objectives, including cost efficiency, service quality, compliance, and turnaround times.
- Seek to continuously improve operational efficiency and effectiveness through process optimization, automation, and the application of AI technologies.
- Implement strategies to manage and reduce medical costs, ensure financial accuracy, and maximize recoveries through audits and fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) detection.
- In alignment with the Group Program Office oversee the implementation of technology solutions and enhancements to operations systems, working closely with IT, vendors, and change management teams to ensure successful adoption.
- Support the enhancement of MedNet’s data infrastructure, including the development and application of management information systems for real-time performance tracking and analytics.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policy standards, proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks.
- Act as an innovation thought leader, promoting forward-thinking ideas and the use of emerging technologies to enhance operational excellence and service delivery.
- Conduct periodic operational audits focused on efficiency, service quality, compliance, and regulatory adherence.
- Partner with the commercial team to present MedNet’s operational capabilities and value propositions in client meetings and proposals.
- Work with the Group Head of Operations to identify local improvement opportunities, implement group standards, and align UAE operations with the overall Group Operations Strategy.
- Lead training sessions and workshops to embed a professional project management and innovation culture within the operations teams.
Your profile:
- 15–20 years of experience in insurance, financial services, or TPA operations, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the UAE market is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Healthcare Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-departmental operations and cross-functional teams at an executive level.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex projects, driving process transformation, and implementing digital technologies.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, risk management, and compliance in healthcare and TPA services.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Fluent in business English (spoken and written).
- Certification in Six Sigma, Lean, or other process improvement methodologies is an advantage.
