Job summary

Venture Search in Dubai seeks an Operations Manager – Logistics to lead post-fixture operations and voyage execution, ensuring vessels depart and arrive as scheduled. The role requires hands-on coordination of vessel movements, port activities, and communication with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced shipping environment.

The successful candidate will manage fertiliser product handling, documentation, and commercial aspects such as laytime and demurrage, while maintaining strong negotiation

Qualifications

• 5+ years' commercial post-fixture experience within a ship owner/operator.
• Experience handling fertiliser products is required.
• Strong knowledge of laytime, charter parties and shipping documentation.
• Commercially minded with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
