Purpose of the Role
The Operations Manager (EPC) will provide leadership and direction for complex EPC project operations, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong technical expertise, project leadership, and stakeholder management experience in the GCC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage EPC project operations, ensuring compliance with technical, commercial, and quality standards.
- Oversee multiple high-value EPC projects simultaneously.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, business plans, and performance improvements.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial performance.
- Represent the company with clients, stakeholders, and authorities to build strong partnerships.
- Coordinate closely with tendering, engineering, and procurement teams.
- Conduct operational and safety risk assessments, ensuring strict HSE compliance.
- Mentor and develop project teams to drive engagement and capability.
- Ensure alignment with company vision, policies, and international standards.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 15–20 years of EPC project experience within the GCC (power, oil & gas, utilities, infrastructure).
- Proven track record managing multiple large-scale EPC projects.
- PMP Certification (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of project controls, risk management, and EPC methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
