A Director of Operations is responsible for the effective operational management of the hotel so Heads of Department achieve and exceed their revenue and Guest satisfaction targets.

What will I be doing?

As Director of Operations, you will be responsible for the effective operational management of the hotel to ensure that Heads of Department achieve and exceed their revenue and Guest satisfaction targets. Specifically, your tasks will include:

  • Working with the General Manager / Area General Manager to manage key property issues (including capital projects, customer service, refurbishment).
  • Assisting in developing hotel budgets and strategic goals.
  • Providing leadership to the hotel management team and staff to meet targets.
  • Responding to audits to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Planning and coordinating service delivery across departments to exceed guest expectations.
  • Ensuring compliance with hotel and company Service Standards.
  • Controlling costs and analyzing results to address issues.
  • Managing and developing Heads of Department for career progression and succession planning.
  • Responding to guest feedback to enhance satisfaction.
  • Holding regular team briefings and communication meetings.
What are we looking for?

A Director of Operations at Hilton brands works for our Guests and collaborates with Team Members. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • Strong commercial acumen, preferably with experience in Food and Beverage or Rooms Management.
  • Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting.
