Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day operations and establish mechanisms/processes to monitor payment success rates 24x7 across banks, partners, and merchants, aiming to improve operational excellence.
  2. Develop business strategies related to structures, costs, and capabilities for each country of operation.
  3. Implement efficient processes and identify new opportunities for growth.
  4. Oversee the implementation of technology solutions organization-wide.
  5. Manage relationships and negotiations with partners and local acquirers.
  6. Evaluate risks and lead quality assurance initiatives.
  7. Analyze performance data and optimize processes accordingly.
  8. Understand Dlocal operations to detect and prevent operational and technical issues, proposing strategic improvements.
  9. Collaborate with various departments to support their needs, providing transaction data, feedback from local providers, and analysis of current issues affecting clients and processes.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Strong background in payments operations with a technical understanding.
  2. 5-7 years of experience as an Operations Manager in a similar environment.
  3. Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or related fields.
  4. Adaptability to fast-paced, changing environments; willingness to work across time zones.
  5. Knowledge of data analytics and reporting, including SQL.
  6. Familiarity with legal, finance, product, and IT functions.
  7. Excellent presentation, communication, and reporting skills.
  8. Detail-oriented with a curious and positive attitude.
  9. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
