  • Oversee all aspects of road transportation operations, including scheduling, routing, and driver management.
  • Monitor fleet performance to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods or services.
  • Manage and optimize routes to improve efficiency and reduce fuel costs.
  • Implement best practices for maintenance schedules to ensure vehicle reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Lead and supervise drivers, dispatchers, and other transportation staff.
  • Provide training and development to ensure team members adhere to safety standards, customer service expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and high performance.
  • Develop and manage the transportation budget, monitoring costs related to fuel, maintenance, salaries, and logistics.
  • Implement strategies to reduce operational costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Analyze financial performance and report on key metrics, providing insights for improvements.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns promptly, working toward effective solutions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication with customers regarding delivery schedules or any changes.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years of experience in road transportation or logistics operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
