Role Overview

As our Operations Lead Saudi Arabia, youll be the first boots on the ground to set up and manage our day-to-day logistics operations in KSA. This is a strategic and executional role perfect for someone with startup grit, strong logistics know-how, and the ambition to grow into a country operations leader.

Key Responsibilities

???? Launch & Setup

• Establish operational processes for iCARRYs platform in KSA.
• Onboard local and national carrier partners; support integration and SLA setup.
• Coordinate shipment flow and operational pilot runs with initial clients.
• Collaborate with tech and central ops team to ensure system readiness.
• Implement SOPs for carrier handling, delivery tracking, and issue resolution.

???? Operational Execution

• Own daily operations: shipment bookings, escalations, carrier communications.
• Monitor service levels, failed deliveries, and customer escalations.
• Coordinate with Sales to ensure merchant onboarding success.
• Prepare reports on KPIs, carrier performance, and merchant feedback.

????? Growth & Scale

• Support hiring and training of local ops team (support, fulfillment, etc.).
• Optimize delivery SLAs, improve processes, and oversee fleet/warehouse (if applicable).
• Work with Finance to ensure proper reconciliation of COD & billing processes.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi logistics and eCommerce regulations.

Qualifications

• 46 years of experience in logistics, last-mile delivery, or eCommerce operations in KSA.
• Strong knowledge of local carrier ecosystem (SPL, SMSA, Barq, Zajil, etc.).
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Startup or fast-paced environment experience is a strong plus.
