We are an established FMCG manufacturer based in the UAE, seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Head to lead our operations across the Supply Chain, Sales, and Manufacturing functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG, with the expertise to analyze business processes, recommend improvements, implement cost-saving initiatives, and oversee the complete operational cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Lead and manage the entire operations function including Supply Chain, Sales, and Manufacturing to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
- Process Analysis & Improvement: Analyze current operational processes and workflows. Propose, implement, and monitor process improvements for operational efficiency.
- Cost Optimization: Develop and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including supply chain, sales, and manufacturing staff, to achieve operational goals and KPIs.
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods, inventory management, and optimal supplier relationships.
- Sales Coordination: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless integration between manufacturing and sales objectives. Ensure that production aligns with customer demand and market trends.
- Manufacturing Oversight: Manage manufacturing operations to ensure quality standards are met, production timelines are adhered to, and capacity utilization is optimized.
- Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and control budgets for operations, supply chain, and manufacturing, ensuring cost efficiency across all operations.
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare regular reports on operational performance and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- 15 years in a senior operations role within the FMCG industry.
- In-depth knowledge of FMCG supply chain, sales, and manufacturing operations.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
