Job summary

Emirates Global Aluminium seeks an Associate Manager – Plant Analysis to lead budgeting, planning, forecasting, and management reporting for the Operations area.

The role focuses on cash flow management, cost control, and capital monitoring, ensuring alignment with corporate targets and guidelines, while coordinating with area analysts and senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CMS, CIMA or equivalent).
• 6–8 years of experience in financial planning and forecasting operations.
• Experience managing a team and interacting with a large group of staff.

Responsibilities

• Develops and oversees the implementation of FP&A policies, systems and controls for Operations to ensure compliance and cost-efficiency.
• Reviews day-to-day FP&A operations to ensure processes follow policy and are consistent.
• Reviews month-end activities including accruals, mass balance and inventory valuation.
• Reviews operating budgets and plans for completeness, accuracy and alignment with targets.
• Monitors expenditures and advises on cost controls to achieve financial performance against budget.
• Coordinates with analysts to communicate budgets and performance across the organization.
• Assesses financial performance versus budgets and identifies improvement opportunities.
