Qualifications

• +3 years of detailed experience in logistics and forwarding operations.

• Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications and/or other market leading software.

• Customer order creation, processing, and updating.

Scope

Coordination and execution of Ocean Freight orders in accordance with customers’ requirements, internal processes, procedures and based on PSA BDP Ethics

Responsibilities

• Customer order creation and processing
• Planning / Booking / Transportation of orders
• Coordination/follow up of the shipments end-to-end
• Customs Clearance coordination (export/import)
• Documentation/invoicing / filing
• Updating to the customer (internal and external reporting of the shipments to the customer) by various means (mail, phone, EDI)
• Operational troubleshooting
• Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI’s.
• Adherence of approved subcontractors in accordance with agreed rates
• End to end processing of shipments.
• Punctual and flawless shipment handling and documentation

• A professional degree by a licensed educational institution specialized in logistics and forwarding.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications and /or other market leading software applications.
