  • Control and co-ordinate the timeous and efficient movement of physical cargo within the country for both imports and exports.
  • Ensure that all customs requirements are adhered to.
  • Maintain and improve upon established Key Performance Indicators, which in term improve customer service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all service providers, internal and external.
  • Find cost effective and time sensitive solutions to resolve and reduce any potential delays, ensuring that cargo is moved as quickly and cost effectively as possible.
  • Adopt and improve upon a “Pull” mentality where files are actively pulled into the department for completion.
  • Receive, record, and validate customer order, pre-alert, the customer order in the TMS taking into consideration our offer (based on quotation & the SOP)
  • Check the availability of cargo and provide confirmation that shipping can proceed
  • Monitor and improve supplier’s performance (with MO solutions)
  • Prepare operational reports, review the trend of the business and provide analyzed feedback to the manager.
