Job Summary:

As an Operations Executive – City Tours, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of our city tour programs across various destinations. Your role involves coordinating daily operations, managing tour schedules, liaising with guides and transport partners, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. You will play a key role in maintaining service standards and optimizing operational efficiency for all city-based activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee daily city tour operations, ensuring timely departures and excellent guest service.
  • Monitor and manage tour schedules, transportation logistics, and guide assignments.
  • Act as a point of contact for tour guides, drivers, and third-party service providers to ensure smooth execution.
  • Handle last-minute operational challenges, such as no-shows, delays, or guest concerns, with professionalism and urgency.
  • Ensure all tour materials, tickets, and refreshments are ready and delivered on time.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily tours, guest counts, feedback, and incident reports.
  • Monitor quality of guest experience during city tours and take corrective action when needed.
  • Support in training and onboarding of new city tour guides or coordinators.
  • Liaise with customer service and reservations teams to align guest expectations and operational readiness.
  • Assist in inventory control for tour-related materials (e.g., radios, uniforms, signage).
  • Contribute to improvements in tour itineraries and overall guest experience through feedback and reporting.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and company standards.

Job Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in tour operations, preferably in city or sightseeing tours.
  • Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions on the spot.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tour management tools.
  • Good knowledge of local city attractions, landmarks, and cultural protocols.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as required.
