We are looking for an Operations Engineer to join our Data Centers Operations Team in UAE. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of data center facilities, compliance with QHSE standards, managing hard and soft services, overseeing specialist services, and vendor management. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Accountabilities:
  1. Ensure all policies and procedures of the facility are enforced.
  2. Assist in resolving customer concerns, incidents, and issues; monitor investigations and recommend corrective actions to ensure service continuity in a professional and safe manner.
  3. Plan, schedule, and conduct customer meetings.
  4. Review monthly reports as required.
  5. Coordinate with customer representatives and the operations team regarding facility operational requirements.
  6. Respond promptly and effectively to customer emergencies or urgent issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Higher National Diploma in Engineering (3 years), or equivalent.
  • Entry-level certifications in O&M management or related fields.
  • Certifications such as Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) or Certified Data Centre Specialist (CDCS).
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in data center operations and management or mission-critical facilities is preferred.
Job-Specific Skills:
  • Proficiency in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge of critical infrastructure equipment and tools such as UPS, generators, BMS, chillers, and FLS.
  • Familiarity with CAFM/CMMS platforms.
  • Experience in work organization and work order planning.
