Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Coordinator at BUILDWISE - Maintenance And Renovation Services in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating construction, fit-out, and maintenance activities on-site. Day-to-day tasks include managing operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and providing administrative assistance.

  1. Serve as the point of contact between clients, consultants, and internal departments for operational follow-ups.
  2. Coordinate site visits, client meetings, and inspections with relevant teams.
  3. Coordinate day-to-day activities across Contracting / Fit out / Maintenance teams ensuring project timelines and deliverables are met.
  4. Monitor project progress and report regularly to senior management with updates and potential risks.
  5. Liaise with project managers, site engineers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment across disciplines.
  6. Assist in planning schedules, manpower allocation, and procurement timelines.
  7. Assist in communicating design and co-ordination requirements for Fit-Out projects.
  8. Track material requests, delivery schedules, and ensure availability as per project needs.
  9. Coordinate with the procurement team and vendors to follow up on orders, quotations, and delivery deadlines.
  10. Support in managing and tracking manpower deployment of sub-contractors across various job sites.
  11. Maintain and update project files including drawings, permits, contracts, variations, and approvals.
  12. Prepare project status reports, MOMs, and ensure timely follow-up on all assigned tasks.
  13. Support in preparing documentation for authority submissions (DM, DDA, Trakhees, etc.).
  14. Resource Tracking / Updates

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. 3-5 years of experience in operations or project coordination within construction, MEP, and/or interior fit-out sectors.
  2. Strong communication and coordination skills with a proactive attitude.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  4. Good knowledge of local authority regulations (DM, DCD, Trakhees, DDA, DEWA, SIRA etc.).
  5. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Valid UAE driving license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month
