Operational and Financial Auditor (x2) | Al Futtaim Group Audit

Established in the 1930s, Al-Futtaim has grown into a progressive regional business with over 65 companies across sectors such as commerce, industry, and services, employing more than 20,000 people across the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Pakistan, Singapore, and Europe.

We are currently recruiting an Operational/Financial Auditor to work from our Dubai head office. Reporting to the Operational Audit Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Reviewing audit areas and identifying risks and controls
  2. Testing compliance with internal controls
  3. Ensuring adherence to the Group's policies and procedures
  4. Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency
  5. Applying risk assessment models
  6. Preparing draft audit reports with objective opinions on internal control systems
  7. Assisting external auditors during secondment

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • At least 4 years of PQE experience
  • Membership in a professional accounting body (e.g., CPA, ACA, CIA, ACMA) or be a part-qualified professional
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Familiarity with computerized accounting systems (preferably SAP), including spreadsheet and database skills
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
