A staffing and event solutions company in Dubai is seeking an Operations Executive / Event Assistant to manage event logistics, vendor relationships, and ensure successful execution of events. The role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders and offers a duration of 3-6 months, with potential for permanency based on performance. Candidates need to be prepared for occasional weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Main POC with supplier for various services.
  • Oversee and coordinate all logistical aspects of event planning and execution.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain event timelines, schedules, and production plans.
  • Coordinate venue setup, audiovisual requirements, and other technical needs.
  • Monitor event budgets and control expenses.
  • Ensure smooth workflow and efficient resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on event promotion and content creation.
  • Generate comprehensive post-event reports and summaries.
  • Assist with official correspondence, document preparation, and filing.
  • Liaise with some internal and external stakeholders, clients, and partners.
  • Support the planning, execution, and delivery of events.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, exhibitors, sponsors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Help to maintain event project timelines, budgets, and action plans.
  • Assist in on-site event management including registration, logistics, and VIP hosting.

Overview

Position: Operations Executive / Event Assistant

  • Location: Dubai
  • Duration: 3-6 months (extendable or convert as permanent based on performance)
  • Work Timings: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Working Days & Off Days: Monday to Friday and Off Days Saturday and Sunday. However, depending on need, you may be required to work on weekends
