Job Description

The Operations Coordinator supports the safe and efficient running of operations by coordinating team activities, ensuring safety standards, managing performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

In this role, you will:

• Support safety standards and help reduce health and safety risks.
• Coordinate team activities to apply safety standards and use Behavioural Based Safety programs daily.
• Conduct basic incident investigations and escalate safety non-compliance issues.
• Understand and communicate objectives, KPIs, roles, and responsibilities to your team.
• Develop and validate your Team Development Matrix (TDM) with your leader.
• Escalate resource planning issues, equipment availability, and performance metrics.
• Track and manage team performance, attendance, overtime, and quality KPIs.
• Support the review and improvement of Work Instructions and ensure adherence to the Excellence School training program.
• Participate in shift handovers and performance reviews, both informal and formal.
• Monitor KPI results, escalate issues, and participate in tactical meetings.
• Identify and document process improvements and communicate them effectively.
• Promote recognition programs and engagement activities, including CSR initiatives.
• Control operational processes to meet service levels and deadlines.
• Support a culture of engagement, participate in CSR activities, and follow HR and security procedures.
• Liaise with suppliers and ensure compliance with policies and legal obligations.

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Passion, a positive attitude, and a right-first-time mindset.
• Team management and change management skills.
• Ability to perform under stress, coaching, active listening, problem-solving, and communication skills.
