Job description

  • Control Room Management: Supervise and coordinate activities within the security control room, ensuring all security protocols and procedures are strictly followed.
  • Monitoring: Continuously monitor CCTV feeds, alarm systems, access control systems, and other security technology to detect and respond to security breaches or incidents.
  • Incident Response: Receive, assess, and respond to emergency calls or incidents; coordinate with field security teams and relevant authorities to resolve issues effectively.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with security officers, management, emergency services, and other stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Document and maintain logs of daily activities, incidents, and any irregularities; prepare detailed incident reports for management review.
  • Coordination: Facilitate deployment and scheduling of security personnel as needed; ensure all staff are informed and updated on relevant security alerts or changes.
  • System Maintenance: Oversee the proper functioning of all security equipment and liaise with technical teams for timely repairs or upgrades.
  • Training: Provide guidance and support to control room staff; assist in training new employees on operational protocols and security systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in security operations, preferably within a control room environment.
  • Strong knowledge of security systems including CCTV, alarms, access control, and communication devices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with security management software.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Security Management, First Aid) are a plus.
Education:
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in security management or related field preferred.
Working Conditions:
  • Shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
