Job summary

Mediclinic Abu Dhabi is seeking a Unit Manager to lead the Operating Theatre Complex nursing team, ensuring patient-centric care and evidence-based practices while driving operational efficiency in a busy private hospital.

The role requires 3–5 years in senior nursing and 5–10 years overall, a Bachelor’s in Nursing (Master’s preferred), strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and cost management skills to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required or higher.
• Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field is preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in a clinical/operational setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and management guidance to the nursing team.
• Ensure evidence-based patient care practices per clinical standards.
• Foster positive patient experiences by developing staff and enabling engagement.
• Manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources cost-effectively to enhance safe patient care.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards for continuous quality improvement.
